John Levesque has been providing legal services in Kitchener-Waterloo for over 34 years. He was, until recently, in practice with Michael Deane and they had been operating as Levesque & Deane since 1999. Sadly, Michael Deane passed away on July 20th, 2024 after a prolonged battle with cancer.

Estate Administration
Services include meeting with the Executor(s)/Estate Trustee(s) to review the will and the duties and obligations of the Estate Trustee, preparation of an Application for Certificate of Appointment of Estate Trustee With a Will (commonly referred to as an Application for Probate) or an Applications for Certificate of Appointment of Estate Trustee Without a Will (previously referred to as Administration) and filing same with the Court as required, assisting Estate Trustees with respect to determining and cataloguing estate assets, determining if an Application for a Certificate is required, assisting with locating & contacting beneficiaries, assisting with concluding the deceased’s affairs, advice regarding establishing an Estate bank account, assistance with distributing payments and or property to beneficiaries, assisting with payment of Estate debts, advising with respect to Estate tax obligations, advising with respect to finalizing and closing the Estate.
Wills and Powers of Attorney
Services include meeting with clients in order to determine specific requirements with respect to their estate planning and preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney for Property and/or Personal Care.
